To the People – 4

By Mba @mbartoloabela

How shall I give you up, Ephraim? How shall I surrender you, Israel? How shall I make you as Admah? How shall I set you as Zeboim? (Hos 11:8).

The consensual silence of man in the face of the most horrid neglect of Him who is infinite love is abominable (Dn 9:27, 11:31, 12:11). It is the silence of those who are neither hot, nor cold (Rv 3:16) – the silence of the lukewarm. The silence of desolation. But this kind of silence becomes even more abominable when perpetrated by His very own; straight from the hearts, minds and souls of those dearest to His meek Heart (Rv 12:4).

Never in the history of mankind was such a degree of silence heard before from the mouths of His very own people. Neither will such cowardly, rationalized silence be heard on earth in this respect ever again.
