My life is busy and unconventional. I live this way by choice. I also live without coordination for a reason - it breeds creativity. I forget many things that I should do or was suppose to do. I purposely do not keep a 'to do' list because of the Darwinism and the belief that the most important things will be those that are remembered and those that I ultimately complete.
Yet, I still see to do lists as overrated - a waste time. I believe that lists are self-correcting. Assuming that the important things will be remembered and the less important things forgot. Sometimes this does not always work, but for the most part I'm happy how my no-list philosophy has worked out.
With that said, what would be nice is a to-do list that is dynamic, easy to use and 'smart'. If I'm going to use a to-do list it won't be a pen and paper or the typical mobile app. The conventional issue with to-do lists is they are too static. Sometimes you can order and rearrange by priority, but that leaves me wanting something more. I need a list that can rearrange itself based on location
For example, my to-do list app should sense my speed and motion and sort to the top of the list any tasks that involve phone calls, under the theory that I'm probably driving my car and I can make some calls on the way.
The other key is the time it takes to do the task, if I have only a few minutes I'd like the list to be sorted by time it takes. The key issues I see is the time it takes to post to to-do lists and the fact that they are so static.
The key things I am looking for is a sense of priority, time to complete, location, how can tasks be rolled together, how is it done (phone, computer, hands on, etc.), work-related, etc.
