Verdict on To Catch a Killer
To Catch a Killer is an action thriller following the aftermath of a mass shooting. It follows an FBI investigator teaming up with a police officer as they try to solve the case. However, the case becomes more complicated when the world starts trying to speculate who is behind the killing.
This movie starts out very interesting, the shock and panic of the opening attack drags us in. The investigation into the person behind it also has plenty of interest as well as playing the politics about getting it closed quickly. With all this excellent build, the story seems to fizzle out without getting the intensity it deserves. It feels like the cat-n-mouse concept doesn’t get put into play enough and just becomes a generic movie by the end.
Final Thoughts – To Catch a Killer has a great opening sequence that only leaves the film fizzling out.
