It was just yesterday that I bought myself a pair of denim jeans and after a few washes it started to wear off and finally within a month, it came down to pieces. Like seriously? Not washing would keep my clothes stay longer? This can't be true! Detergents are made with harsh chemicals that directly affect the threads of the fabric and loosen them, which results in wear and tear. 2.Check pockets before washing:

My mother always had this issue with us that we never checked out jeans pockets before putting the jeans in the washing machine. You must have heard about the Big Bang Theory but have you heard about the Fold and Hang theory? You must have an idea of which clothes are supposed to be hanged while which are to be folded. Clothes with sharp edges like shirts, pants, shorts or t-shirts and even under clothing pieces are supposed to be folded whereas; articles like suits and any kind of winter wear are required to be hanged because the folded marks need to be prevented from the same.
5.Sunlight is important for some:

You might show all your clothes sunlight after washing them. Have you ever seen some colors fading? Well, it can either be because of the detergent or because of the sun rays.
