Well I’ve been here on good old WordPress.com for 2 years now and it’s time for a change and a move to my own Jason Noble domain. The .com one is in limbo and in holding, and not around now to buy so the .co.uk one it is – and why not, we’re in the UK.
My “snowballsinwinter” blog has been fully moved across – posts, comments, links, images, subscribers and the rest – with a bit of MySQL database wizardry, some PHP config file editing and a few clicks, so in theory everything should work. Still using WordPress as my blogging tool of choice, but now the installed version with my own hosting provider – Fasthosts - which allows me to experiment with more plugins and themes.
All new posts for the blog will be being done on the new site only!
And we’ll be back to more technology and service focused posts next week.
