A doff of the hat to Guatemalan president Otto Perez Molina for calling for discussion of the decriminalisation to end the War On Drugs:
“We have seen that the strategy that has been pursued in the fight against drug trafficking over the last 40 years has failed… We have to look for new alternatives.”
Decriminalisation is the ONLY alternative that will break the hideous stranglehold of organised crime and its political cronies over Mexico, Central and South America. Make no mistake, the War On Drugs is not about protecting people from drugs, it’s about maintaining the profitability of a multi-billion (trillion?) dollar industry that funds an unholy alliance of arms manufacturers, private armies, bent politicos and drug oligarchs. Time to Just Say No to the death-dealing propaganda.
