When my kids were young, Clippy, the paper clip in Windows 95, was the coolest technology they had access to. I wish I could do it all over again because laser tag is one thing you can do at home right now. And since this set is recommended for ages 8 and up, my name is on it. Laser Tag is the perfect game: you can make pew-pew sounds, physical exercise, play teams, or one on one ... and it's a great thing for kids and adults alike. And now you can save over 50% on a set with two or four players. Get that GPX Laser Tag Blaser 2-pack for $ 23 with promo code CNETGPX at checkout. If you'd rather get The four-pack, that's $ 43 . Both kits are approx. 53% cheaper than the regular price.
These kits are expandable. Even if you start with two blasters, you can add more kits for larger tournaments. You can have up to four teams and an unlimited number of players per team.
Each blaster gets nine lives per game and a volume control, and has a range of around 30 meters for battles that can span your entire home or garden. Buy stocks in Eveready though: each blaster runs on three AA batteries.
