Verdict on Time Cut
Time Cut is a horror sci-fi movie following a teenager who gets transported back in time and is left with a decision on whether to stop a serial killer or not. It leads her down a path of uncertainty, as she knows the consequences of her actions, but wants to find more from her life.
This movie is going to be compared to ‘Totally Killer’, but this one does something different and puts a lot more of the focus on Lucy’s decisions. It asks questions about changing time and what would happen to their own timeline. There is plenty of 2003 music which plays on the nostalgia levels. On the slasher side of things, it is held back from anything violent, feeling more like a more adult version of Goosebumps than a hardcore slasher. This does an excellent job creating the characters, as you find yourself wondering what you would do in the same position as Lucy.
