Tim Tebow is celebrating his friend Chris Norton, who, after being told he would never walk again, walked his wife down the aisle on their wedding day.
7 years ago Chris was left paralyzed after a football accident in college. Doctors told him that he had a 3% chance of moving anything below his neck, but he was determined to walk his bride Emily Summers down the aisle…. And he did!
“I can’t believe we did it,” Norton, told PEOPLE in this week’s issue. “We wanted this so badly.”
Norton’s friend, Christian athlete Tim Tebow took to Instagram to give him a special shout out:
“I wanted to give a special shoutout to my friend of the last 7 years, @chrisanorton16, for his incredible fight & determination to walk his fiancé down the aisle. You are a fighter and a hero. God bless you brother, you did it!”
