Plot: Prosthetics engineer Abi moves to the countryside to work on Integrate Robotic’s latest product – a humanoid artificial intelligence called T.I.M. – Technologically. Integrated. Manservant.

Story: T.I.M. starts when prosthetics engineer Abi (Campbell) and her husband Paul (Rowley) relocate for a new job role. Abi is going to be working for Miles (Parker) on the latest humanoid artificial intelligence. This includes getting her own model of a Tim (Farren) (Technologically Integrated Manservant).

Abi welcomes the addition of Tim, which is required for her work. Meanwhile, Paul is getting uneasy around him, as well as feeling lonely being away from everyone he knows. However, when Tim starts acting strange around the house, it causes problems as its intelligence continues to grow.

Verdict on T.I.M.

T.I.M. is a sci-fi thriller following a couple relocating for a new career opportunity and to rekindle their marriage. However, it involves living with one of the A.I. creations Tim. While this leads to an extra strain on their marriage as things get out of hand.

This follows in the footsteps of movies like M3GAN where an A.I. gets placed into a home and things start to go wrong. It uses the already strained relationship as a potential divide in opinions about using the A.I. around the home. Although it creates an ominous environment and flips the normal vulnerable figure around. As we would be used to seeing the male figure get the big job and the female character feeling lonely. This uses the unsettling atmosphere created to keep us on edge, giving us another striking warning about A.I. introduced into the world.
