There’s a few new favorites in my closet, pieces that I only got recently but of which I already know I’ll be wearing them all the time. One of those is this pair of open booties, that I absolutely love. They bring the coolness of wearing boots under shorts but at the same time are kind of sandals so perfect for summer. Loving it. Secondly but not necessarily in that order is the tiger jacket I scored on sale last week. Love bomberjackets, love animal prints and this linen bomber has just the right shade of tiger that gives me sophisticated animal cool. Obviously the jacket itself (fabric, fit, quality, print, color) makes the difference between looking cool and looking trailer trashy, but I have another rule that allows me to wear as much animal print as I like without having to worry about associations with trailer parks. Wear leopard/tiger/leo/zebra with no other prints and preferably with black, white and/or denim. As you see, black and denim it was yesterday.
But back to favorites: how gorgeous is this arrow necklace that colleague blogger Sofie Valkiers designed for Diamanti per Tutti? I’m so into high quality tiny necklaces, and this one is my new favorite. Good job Sofie!
