I know I am not the only one that feels as though brands follow them on social media. Whether it's ads for products you were just Googling or learning about a new retailer and then seeing it featured by every influencer you follow, it seems that social media is reading our minds (or listening to our conversations... hey Alexa and Siri, what's up?). Well, that is what happened with Nooworks, a small woman-owned fashion brand based out of California. Offering a variety of unique prints and solid colors on a selection of tops, bottoms, dresses, and jumpsuits up to 3XL, it seems each time I open Instagram I see another amazing person rocking another amazing piece from Nooworks. I've visited the Nooworks website several times, trying to decide what I'd actually want to buy and think I'd wear regularly and when I saw they got more of their Pride Tiger print in stock a day I got paid for a campaign from this spring, I treated myself to the overalls in size XL.

The Nooworks site has detailed size charts for each individual style of garment that they sell; I was sort of between two sizes but went up figuring it may shrink and I'd rather have it loose than too fitted. I have done no alterations to the jumpsuit except for cuffing the legs three times. The straps have two buttons, I have them on the shortest setting. There is elastic at the back to create a better fit, side pockets, back patch pockets, and a chest pocket. It is cotton without stretch, not too stiff or heavy but thick enough that it doesn't stretch out and you can't see your undergarments through it.

This is the second time I've worn these overalls; they are fantastic for the hot weather because it doesn't cling, it covers the straps of every bra in my wardrobe, it's breezy and easy. I think this winter it will look super cute with a black turtleneck and black boots.

For now, I added my Levi's denim jacket which is my biggest, loosest denim jacket (I discussed my denim jacket wardrobe in this blog post) liking the relaxed silhouette with the overalls. And because it's summer and I like comfort, I added my silver Birks though these would also be cute with sneakers.

While I usually gravitate towards my plain silver cuff, I liked the idea of my turquoise and silver cuff with this outfit. And it took me down memory lane remembering our cross-country road trip from a few years ago and our time at Four Corners and driving to Winslow, Arizona.

The face mask is from Candace Cort, a Guyanese fashion designer based in New Jersey. I own two of her masks and they are some of my favorites for fit, comfort, and how well they wash up.
