Happy Monday y'all! My family had a very busy, but very fun weekend and this coming week has even more activities continuing at this incredibly packed pace. (Why is my calendar so full? lol) Anyway, I wore this dress on Friday as I traveled to the city for my date night. My hubby is the best and after a pretty stressful week he surprised me with a date night away, just the two of us. I wanted this dress to be shorter, so I did what any one would do in that situation. I tied it up!

When it came to the styling, I wanted to keep it simple but still appear dressy. By adding a high retro style heel, fringe bag, and oversized statement necklace, my look was perfect for traveling and also to attend happy hour. The hat was great for keeping the sun off my face as we walked around downtown, and the tie front made this classic chambray maxi dress appear to have more of a shape. I think next time I will belt it!
