I plan to post many of my thrift store finds for you to see. Hopefully, they will inspire you to think outside the box and go in search of treasures that no one else will have. For once, someone can’t ask you where you bought something and go find the exact same thing. Being unique with your fashion choices makes you stand out, being creative in the thrift store may seem like a daunting task for you, but it is seriously much easier to make amazing outfits from thrift store finds than it is to go to the stores everyone else is shopping. Be your own fashionista and save money at the same time.
Still not sure? Go with a friend and maybe they can pick some items out for you to try together and open your eyes to a whole new fashion playground. If the items don’t work, donate them back. At least you didn’t pay a fortune for them in the first place! Plus, many of the older items that can be found at thrift or vintage stores are so well-made, you will be shocked. They don’t make things like they used to. I feel like many of the items today are made to be disposable on purpose. Sweaters should last more than three washes. Seriously.
