You know my LOVE of vintage and thrift store finds!  Well, I am almost head-to-toe vintage in this outfit.  That cutest little wooden box bag… it’s just an ORIGINAL BOX BAG from 1966.  You know, no biggie!

It seems to be the same story over and over…  Perusing thrift store, a special {insert super awesome item here} catches my eye.  Decision is made that I cannot POSSIBLY leave the store without it because I would never find that {insert super awesome item here} again especially because it’s… HELLO… vintage/one of a kind/not made like that anymore.  Hand my card/cash/life savings to cashier and walk to my car as if I just won the lotto!

That’s exactly what happened when I saw this dress and that box bag.  Silk creamsicle dress for $10 – DONE!  The ORIGINAL Box Bag by Enid Collins (bonus that it’s made in Texas) for $25 – DOUBLE DONE.  Seriously, I am OBSESSED with the mirror inside and the branding on it!  And I purchased the necklace from my MIL’s friend who was cleaning out her vintage costume jewelry – STICK A FORK IN ME!

I hope y’all enjoy seeing my thrift finds as much as I LOVE finding them!  :)
