The Mirihana Crime Investigation Division yesterday said that a person who stole five three wheelers worth Rs. 1 million each in a month has been arrested.
It has been revealed during investigations that the suspect had sold one three-wheeler for Rs.2,500.
The Police said that the three wheelers were stolen from Thalangama, Kaduwela, Fort, Kiribathgoda and Grandpass Police Divisions. The Police said that during the questioning of the suspect who was arrested with more than 5 grams of heroin at Pitakotte junction, these thefts were discovered.
