Director AR Murugadoss Stills

Director AR Murugadoss is a huge name in South Film industry and commands a price that is only next to director Shankar. The reason for this immense reputation and price, are his films which have all been successful so far at one level or the other at the box office. His film Ghajini starring Bollywood perfectionist Aamir Khan was the one which started the current 100 Cr club mania in Bollywood.

So naturally all his films are looked forward to by the Bollywood brigade for a remake. Currently the director is making his second film in Bollywood remake of his own film Thuppaki starring Akshay Kumar. But the remake saga doesn’t end here. Another of his film Stalin starring Megastar Chiranjeevi is reportedly going to be remade with Superstar Salman Khan in the lead. It doesn’t end here too, one of his earliest films Ramana starring Captain Vijayakanth in Tamil and later remade as Tagore in Telugu starring Megastar Chiranjeevi is also going to be remade. The Tagore remake will have Akshay Kumar in the lead. Both these remakes are expected to go onto sets soon. Two of the remakes are expected to hit the screens later this year another one by mid next year.
