On the eve of the Republican debate, three more national polls have been released regarding the candidates running for the Republican nomination for president. They are:
CBS News Poll -- done between July 29th and August 2nd of a random national sample of 408 GOP primary voters, and has a margin of error of 5 points.
Bloomberg Poll -- done between July 30th and August 2nd of a random national sample of 500 GOP voters, and has a margin of error of 4.4 points.
Fox News Poll -- done between July 30th and August 2nd of a random national sample of 475 GOP voters (no margin of error given for this sample).
As all other polls have shown, Donald Trump is unquestioningly the leader of the pack of candidates. I had originally thought he would soon fade as a real candidate, but I'm starting to think now that his candidacy may be real (assuming he doesn't embarrass himself in the first debate). The other candidates have about five months to knock him off his pedestal. If he still looks this strong in January, he could make the GOP race very interesting.
