We have lately reviewed both the ROG Phone 6 Pro and the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate. Overall, the two MediaTek Dimensity 9000 phones- the ROG Phone 6D and 6D Ultimate- catch the palm in the performance section of the test. Asus and Mediatek have done a great job tuning the MediaTek chipset. The ROG Phone 6D is no couch potato indeed though it’s got’ only’ 12 GB of RAM. We will be keeping an eye on it in the thermal- throttling section of our test to see if it can hold up as well as the 6D Ultimate and its AeroActive Portal.
Thermal- throttling geste
In the alternate part of our test, we are taking a look at the thermal throttling gesteof the three ROG 6 phones during an hour-long run of the aptly named CPU strangling standard as well as a 20 min run of 3D Mark’s Wild Life Extreme test, which is further GPU- ferocious as it circles Vulkan1.1- grounded 3D tests offscreen with a resolution of 1440p.
