Inspired by former prime minister Rishi Sunak’s infamous interview where he claimed to know what poverty was like because he grew up with no Sky TV (join the club), Those Fucking Snowflakes return with the appropriately titled ‘No Sky for Rishi’.
A singalong, old-school punk anthem with gonzo drumming, stop-start riffs and witty lyrics explaining how hard it must have been for Sunak to live on three meals a day in a house with two toilets – ‘poor and destitute’ – it finishes in almost celebratory style as the band declare ‘no Downing Street for Rishi’, but this is outweighed by the fact he’ll ‘move back to your mansion, just like everybody else’.
