The verdict was clear on Day 1 of the film itself and now after two weeks Thoofan has topped the list of all time disasters. Not that there was any doubt after week 1, but now after week 2, share of the film has gone back a bit due to its dreadful run. Total AP share of the film would be 10 Cr approximately at the end.
One could give a number of reasons (a dubbed film, agitations etc) for the abysmal performance of Thoofan in AP but the fact that the film was a damp squib, which resulted in such poor performance can’t be ignored. What else could explain the rest of India and overseas (62K in US) performance of the film where there were no issues at all?
