Random Index
Street/graffiti artist Errol Orbida (aka Chill) and the Cultural Center of the Philippines presents Random Index, an exhibit that showcases more or less three thousand photos documenting Manila's streetlife. The unique thing about this exhibit is giving people access to Orbida's perspective by projecting the photos on the façade of the CCP Main Theater Building.
Random Index opens on September 21, 6pm at the CCP's Pasilyo Victorio Edades (4F Hallway Gallery). You can see the artist's exhibition of photos printed on both paper and wood here and at the 4F Atrium from September 21 to November 6 but from Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 6pm only.
If you want to meet the artist, Errol Orbida will be giving an artist's talk on October 19, Wednesday, 4pm at the CCP's MKP Hall.
Manuel Conde@100
To celebrate the birth centennial of National Artist for Film, CCP Arthouse Cinema with the Society of Filipino Archivists for Film (SOFIA), the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and the UP Los Baños Foundation Inc, presents Manuel Conde@100.
Three Conde films will be shown at the CCP Tanghalang Manuel Conde.
- Genghis Khan (1950, MC Productions) on September 24
- Krus na Kawayan (1956, MC Productions/USIS) on October 1
- Venganza (1958, LVN Pictures) on October 8
Mars Ravelo Reinterpreted
Mars Ravelo, the King of Komiks was born a century ago. But the artist as well as his iconic characters such as Captain Barbell, Darna, Dyesebel, Bondying and Maruja are never forgotten.
As part of Mars Ravelo's Centennial Celebration, a dozen artists were selected to interpret a specific character he created. See their works at the Bulwagang Juan Luna (CCP Main Gallery) and Pasilyo Guillermo Tolentino (3F Hallway Gallery) from September 15 to November 13.
Besides this, the following activities will also be held.

German Film Week 2016
Don't miss the first-ever German Film Festival in the country. The Goethe-Institut Philippines in partnership with Ayala Cinemas is featuring 13 best new releases of contemporary German cinema from September 21 to 27 at Glorietta and TriNoma Cinemas.
Opening the first edition of the festival is the 2014 German techno-thriller WHO AM I - No System Is Safe" (or WHO AM I - Kein System ist sicher) directed by Baran bo Odar. If you love thriller, make sure to watch this as this is the first German thriller that ranked no. 1 in the German cinema charts since the 80s.
