The speakers IPX5 rating qualifies it as waterproof. That is, it can survive splash like a shower, but not a bathtub. Why you'd want to immerse a speaker is a mystery to me, but I suppose the important difference is that this device isn't guaranteed to survive accidental dunks in a tub or pool, for example. It probably can (see some of the reviews from users); it's just not rated for that.
But if you want to play it in the shower feel free. There is actually a suction cup for such mounting options, as well as a snap hook for others. According to VicTsing, the speaker can play for up to six hours on one charge (at a volume of 70%). It has a built-in microphone so you can take calls too. (Whether you want to take them in the shower is entirely up to you.)
