This profile on Neil Young by David Carr for the New York Times Magazine is interesting. Or at least it is until the following paragraph on the first page, after which it gets kind of boring.
“He pleads guilty to having been busted for drugs with Eric Clapton and Stephen Stills. He even has a little fun with Crosby. ‘I still remember “the mighty Cros” visiting the ranch in his van,’ he writes. ‘That van was a rolling laboratory that made Jack Casady’s briefcase look like chicken feed. Forget I said that! Was my mike on?’”
(On a side note, I’ve been reading the New York Times magazine now that we get home delivery. Am I wrong that the articles are almost universally boring, unless they are about psychopaths or serial killers?)
