This is GWAR is a documentary about the iconic heavy metal art collective band. The band gained a reputation for their outlandish behavior on stage, which caused plenty of debate about their performances.
Exploring the documentary, we get to learn how the band started out as artists looking to perform. One that slowly became a heavy metal band that had stardom, creating a new image with performances.
It follows the ups and downs the band had, following an over 30-year career together.
If you had never heard of the band, you would learn plenty about the band. Showing what it meant to be part of the band, with every member getting a chance to add something to the band. This is looking back at the legacy they left and how they changed the performance art they created.
