Couture copycats!
As you know by now, Dolce & Gabbana is one of the most controversial clothing companies out there. Not only did co-designer Stefano Gabbana defend the brand’s decision to dress Melania Trump in her official White House portrait, he also refused to apologize for producing a sneaker with the phrase “I’m thin & gorgeous” on it.

Fast forward to Thursday, the Italian label can add another title to its growing list of “accomplishments”: jewelry imitators!
Recently, Instagram fashion account @whodiditfirst posted the following side-by-side of two identical chokers adorned with the word “SEX”: one from Vivienne Westwood in 1989, and the other — modeled by Gisele Bundchen — from D&G in 2003:

Once word got back to Stefano, he totally owned up to the fact that he stole Westwood’s design! In addition to regramming the post, he wrote:
“Okay it’s true!!! We were stupid and ignorant when we did this!!! We say SORRY to the Genius #viviennewestwood as we pay much attention to her work!!”
At least he’s being honest??
