Like the previous painting I did on canvas panel, I painted the background on this one first and let it dry. I was still thinking, "abstract floral" as I painted this one, but I varied the colors to include alizarin crimson, light magenta, light blue violet, and prussian blue. I also included the cobalt green and used yellow and white for highlights.
