Realme 12 smartphone series was launched last month. A total of two devices have come under this new lineup namely – Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+. Now it is known that Realme is planning to bring a third model under this latest series. The upcoming handset is also reported to come with the name Realme 12 Lite. However, no information regarding its official launch date has been revealed yet. However, more information including the model number of the Realme 12 Lite phone has already surfaced.
The Realme 12 Lite smartphone has recently appeared in the IMEI certification site’s database. On this site, the device is listed with the model number RMX3890. Notably, the existing Realme C67 phone also carries this same model number, indicating that the upcoming Realme 12 Lite model will be a rebranded version of the Realme C67.
If this is indeed the case, then the feature similarities between the two phones are quite natural. In this case, the upcoming Realme handset will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 processor. It will feature a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display, which will support Full HD Plus resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The device will run on Android 13 based Realme UI 4.0 custom skin. The Realme 12 Lite smartphone may also offer a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup, an 8-megapixel selfie camera, a 5,000mAh battery and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Meanwhile, the launch date of the upcoming Realme 12 Lite phone has not been announced yet. But since the device has already been approved by the IMEI site, it is likely to be released within the next few weeks.
