The chart above is from a recently released Gallup Poll -- done 2015 through 2018 of a sample of 4,103 adults, with a 2 point margin of error.
It turns out that young people (those between 18 and 34 years of age) are more knowledgeable and more worried about global climate change (global warming) than their older peers (especially those 55 or older).
This probably shouldn't surprise us. While members of the Baby Boomer and Silent generations won't have to deal with the effects of global climate change for very long, it is different for young people. They will have many years to experience those effects, and will probably live long enough to see the really bad effects take hold.
I think those young people are right. But being right isn't enough. They must turn up at the polls this November is large numbers and vote the climate-denying Republicans out of office. Their future world depends on that.
