‘You haunt me like a pop song in my head…’
The Xcerts have released the video for ‘Pop Song’, the second single from their long-awaited third album ‘There Is Only You’ (out 3 November) – and it’s full of joyful hooks, a melody that will be going round your head for weeks and a video that finds the three-piece dressing up as some of the most iconic faces in music.
Playacting as everyone from Nirvana to Morrissey and The Cure to ZZ Top, it seems like there could be nothing more fun than being in The Xcerts right now . With a US tour supporting Brand New and then a UK tour culminating at Aldershot’s West End Centre, we urge you to see them before the end of the year – songs this huge mean they’ll be in much bigger venues throughout 2015.
