Is it really gonna happen? Fox TV Group Chairman Garry Newman has recently announced plans to revive 9-year long 202 episode “The X-Files”.
FOX says they would like to resurrect Chris Carter’s classic series along with the show’s original stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, but nothing’s been confirmed with the casting.
The X-Files was surely the ancestor of many sci-fi tv series and paved the way for the proliferation of successful supernatural and sci-fi genre series currently on the air.
Plot: Two FBI agents, Fox Mulder the believer and Dana Scully the skeptic, investigate the strange and unexplained while hidden forces work to impede their efforts.
