Ripple is an experimental prototype for an ultra-lightweight timber table. This elegant minimalist design created by London-based designer Benjamin Hubert with Canadian manufacturer Corelam is made using 70-80% less material than a standard timber table and can be assembled and manoeuvred by a single person.Ripple is 2.5 metres long, one meter wide and weighs only 9 kilograms It is produced from three ply 0.8mm birch aircraft plywood, using an innovative production process of corrugating plywood which makes it stronger. Even legs are made from it.  It was part of Hubert’s Antecedents show atThe Aram Gallery during London Design festival 2013.
