Story: The Woman Under the Stage starts when Whitney (Willis) gets a role in a new play under first-time director Terrence Durrand (Tompkins). It is a unique play that has never been performed and the writer committed suicide after writing. Whitney must follow a few strict rules, including being part of a live-in production.

However, once the production starts, Whitney finds herself dealing with a host of horrific encounters. She knows this is her big break, so looks to challenge herself to understand them. However, that could cause her dire consequences.

Verdict on The Woman Under the Stage

The Woman Under the Stage is a horror film following a young actress who gets a dream stage role. She must follow a strict set of rules to complete the job. However, once she gets involved, she starts struggling to deal with reality and the unknown. Can she break free and give the performance of her life?

This is a movie that uses the idea of performance versus art. It shows how far a young actress must go to get the best performance, challenging her own mind to achieve so. However, the haunting imagery could test anyone trying to survive in this world. The performances are great, as Jessica Dawn Willis leads us down the path of uncertainty her character struggles through.

Final ThoughtsThe Woman Under the Stage is a disturbing journey through theater production.
