This is a new author for me. I had no idea what to expect when I borrowed the title at random. This is unlike anything I've read before. I thought it was great. It took a few chapters for me to realise what was going. This is essentially a short novel, narrated in the first person by The Woman in the Purple Skirt's stalker. It's very subtly written so it takes a few chapters before the chilling truth sets in. The narrator seems innocent enough at first, chatting about The Woman in the Purple Skirt who she clearly admires. But then gradually you realise how obsessed the narrator is with her and she knows things about her routine she would only know by following her and lurking in the shadows.
I live in Glasgow in the UK with my partner. I work in the Financial Services. I like reading especially Joyce Carol Oates and Stephen King. I write fiction and poetry. I enjoy watching TV (Grimm, Torchwood, Doctor Who, Lip Service, The L Word etc). I like to play video games and am a fan of survival horror especially the Silent Hill franchise.
