The next season of AMC's The Walking Dead has been delayed by a year. The season 10 finale, scheduled to air in April, will now air on October 4, while season 11 has been postponed to fall 2021, the CNET sister site Comicbook.com reported on Friday. Season 11 was originally scheduled to air in fall 2020, but is due to the Corona virus Pandemic.
There are also six more episodes of The Walking Dead's 10th season that will hit screens in early 2021, the series revealed on Friday.

The premiere of season six of Fear the Walking Dead will air on October 11, 2020, while the series premiere of The Walking Dead: World Beyond will take place on October 4, 2020.
During the virtual San Diego Comic-Con on FridayShowrunner Matt Negrete confirmed that World Beyond has completed post-production before the COVID-19 lockout. "The whole first season is in the can," he said. "We are currently working on season two."
