The “Ex-Matrix” Wachowskis are onto something in these days!
After a disappointing “Cloud Atlas” trial, maybe they thought something with episodes might be interesting. So they’re up for a new TV-series called “Sense8″.
Netflix has just unveiled the first look at their new original sci-fi series “Sense8″ which was hatched by the pairing of “The Matrix” directors The Wachowskis with “Babylon 5″ creator J. Michael Straczynski.
That’s important, all the twelve episodes of the series will launch in 4K on Friday June 5th on the streaming service.
Story of Sense8:
Script follows the story of eight people from around the world whose lives are suddenly and inexplicably connected in a fight for their own survival. This trailer puts the focus primarily on “Stargate Universe” hunk Brian J. Smith and reveals that he and the eight people essentially have access to each other’s knowledge and skills and can call upon them at any point.
Sense8 Cast:
Tuppence Middleton, Daryl Hannah, Naveen Andrews, Jamie Clayton, Miguel Angel Silvestre, Tina Desai, Doona Bae, Aml Ameen, Max Riemelt, Terrence Mann, Freema Agyeman, Alfonso Herrera , Erendira Ibarra, Adam Shapiro, Ness Bautista and Joe Pantoliano also star.
