Vivo v30 series to launch in India with Zeiss co engineered camera next month

Vivo is gearing up to launch the Vivo V30 smartphone series in the Indian market soon. The lineup will include both the standard Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro models. While the Chinese brand has already launched the V30 in some countries, no information about the Vivo V30 Pro has surfaced. Earlier today, the smartphone was spotted on the GeekBench benchmarking platform, which revealed that it will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset, 12GB of RAM and will run on the latest Android 14 operating system. And now a report has revealed that the Vivo V30 series will debut in the Indian market next month and the camera setup of the handsets will be tuned by ZEISS.

Vivo V30 series will have ZEISS camera

According to a report by MySmartPrice, the Vivo V30 series will hit the Indian market next month, i.e. in March. The report also suggests that the upcoming series will come with a Zeiss co-engineered camera system, specially designed for the Indian market.

Starting with the Vivo X60 series of smartphones launched in 2021, the company has been collaborating with Zeiss for their flagship X-series. However, with the Vivo V30 series, Vivo is going to use Zeiss’ premium camera technology in their mid-range smartphones for the first time. Zeiss optimization will be able to bring better image sharpness, less distortion and unique bokeh effect.

However, the report does not indicate any changes in terms of hardware specifications. Incidentally, the brand has launched the Vivo V30 in select markets with a camera setup comprised of a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) support and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

Also, it has an Aura LED flash, which supports smart color temperature adjustment. For selfies, the Vivo V30 features a 50-megapixel lens in the punch-hole cutout on the front. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, which is paired with a maximum of 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

Besides, the Vivo V30 phone has a 6.78-inch curved-edge AMOLED (AMOLED) panel, which offers 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Other features of the smartphone include an IP54 rating and a lightweight build weighing 186 grams.
