Can you believe that tomorrow is Thanksgiving?! This month has flown by! Anyhow, I wanted to give a few simple outfit ideas for Thanksgiving all involving my latest hero piece, a Veronica Beard Blazer. I'm showing y'all THREE DIFFERENT ways to style it!
I've worn it SO MANY times recently, and it's given me a new love for a well-constructed blazer. I met the Veronica's at their store opening in Highland Park Village. They are amazing. We chatted with Veronica Miele Beard, and I was blown away when she shared that she has FIVE children. Together, they created this line so that ladies get dressed and look chic in a pinch. They are TOTALLY speaking my language.
One of the best things about the blazer is the versatility. You can add a zip-in/button-in dickie for a completely different look. I want to get the cashmere one and/or leather one this season. Even without the dickey, it's a wardrobe staple.
THE STYLE Rx: A good blazer is a must-have in your wardrobe. It will take you from the office to the happy hour and beyond.
Here are three ways to wear it, and any one would be perfect for a casual Thanksgiving! You can recreate these outfits with a favorite blazer that you own.
BLAZER + SLIP DRESS //
Throwing a blazer over a slip dress is a fabulous way to make it more daytime appropriate. Throw on a pair of booties (still LOVE these studded ones) for an edgy chic look.

Jeans go with everything, and I wore them with a simple black lace cami and those same booties. Voila! A dressy casual look that can take you from running errands to a fabulous meal with friends.

If it's chilly, then switch out the lace cami for a turtleneck sweater and add some knee-high boots for a cozy and casual look.

This week flew by! My best friend since first grade was here over the weekend until Monday afternoon.
