The Venture Compelled to Apologise After Unknowingly Mocking a Visually Impaired Lady

Channel 10's The Venture has been compelled to concern an apology after unknowingly making enjoyable of a visually impaired lady throughout Thursday's episode.

The present aired a 30-second clip of Yvonne Sher, 65, who's the mom of a deceased military soldier, attending a Remembrance Day breakfast on the RSL in Doncaster, Melbourne, the place she was seated subsequent to Prime Minister Scott Morrison.

Ms Sher, whose son Greg, 30, was killed throughout a rocket assault whereas serving in Afghanistan in January 2009, was devastated when the phase aired on Thursday.

She informed the publication: 'They've tried to make me appear to be an fool who does not know who the Prime Minister is - it was so humiliating.'

Ms Sher understands Channel 10 was not conscious she was visually impaired after they aired the clip with Mr Valvo's commentary.

She has since obtained a telephone name from one of many present's producers, who apologised for what occurred.

Mr Valvo additionally apologised to her daughter-in-law by way of social media, with The Australian reporting he wrote: 'Big sorry to you and the household... If we had identified any of this, we might have by no means proven it.
