Verdict on The Unkind
The Unkind is a horror mystery following a group of friends at a mysterious mansion. It follows them as their weekend of parties turns into a nightmare they are not prepared for. They are left to fight for their lives against the haunted history of the home.
This is a movie that creates a great backstory mystery to the mansion but only ends up becoming a bland by-the-book horror. There doesn’t seem to be any real scares and the ones we do get a cheap jump scares. To make matters worse it feels confusing as to what the bigger mystery is, and we are left without any real answers.
Final Thoughts –The Unkind is a horror without any scares and no answers to the mystery.
