Yummly.com is a fun, interactive and effective social media platform. Follow my Paleo recipes, and the Cavemanblog, just by signing up at Yummly for free. Use your Facebook, Google Plus, or e-mail address as your login information. All you need to do is click on the “Yum” icon that will show up on each recipe that you like.

Yummly works like a cataloging tool that will create your lists of favorite meals, flavors and cravings. All that you love is bookmarked and saved for future use.  Add many “Yums”, so that you can increase your chances to connect with thousands of other users like you. Our Yummly users love to share recipes, meal ideas, and even tips on how to save cash on groceries, snacks, and even restaurants.

It has never been easier to build a personal meal plan that will satisfy all your needs.

I chose Yummly as the platform for my Cavemanblog platform because it is easy to use, fun, and it helps people put together a lot of food options.  The more things you like, the more Yummly learns to identify your favorite things. Soon enough you will have a plethora of food options and recipes at the tip of your fingers. You will love the Cavemanblog and all the great things you will be able to eat.

Make the Most of Your Yummly

Log in, put together your avatar, use a profile pic of your liking, and select a username.

There is a pull down menu by your profile icon. There, you can list your most recent favorites, look up cravings, or even ask questions about cooking.  It is in the “My Tastes” option that you will have the choice to tell Yummly more about you.

  • Allergies – (Alphabetically listed) Dairy-Free, Egg-Free, Gluten-Free, Peanut-Free, Seafood-Free, Sesame-Free, Soy-Free, Sulfite-Free, Tree Nut-Free, and Wheat-Free. You have the option of selecting more than one.
  • Diet– Lacto vegetarian, Ovo vegetarian, Paleo, Pescetarian, Vegan, Vegetarian
  • Favorite Cuisines – (Alphabetically listed) American, Asian, Barbecue, Cajun & Creole, Chinese, Cuban, English, French, German, Greek, Hawaiian, Hungarian, Indian, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Kid-Friendly, Mediterranean, Mexican, Moroccan, Portuguese, Southern, & Soul Food, Southwestern, Spanish, Swedish, and Thai.
  • Things you DO NOT like: YES! This is your chance to bring out your inner child again. SAY what you don’t like. Go ahead and hold off all the things you were made to eat against your will! Say no to those annoying Brussels sprouts, or anything else you rather not eat. Wanna keep it at just one ingredient for now? You can do that too. Yes, it is possible to get nothing but cheese recipes. Yummly can do that for you!

Notifications and Sharing

You will receive notifications on trending foods as well as and recipes that you can do instantly. There will be a list prepared just for you and your favorites, based on what you entered on your profile page.
