In case I haven’t said it enough, fall is my absolute favorite season. There’s just something about the feeling of fall; the weather cools down, the leaves change, and there’s something about the way the air smells. Not to mention I live for sweater weather, pumpkin candles, and getting cozy under blankets.
With every year that passes, I realize how fast my kids are growing up before my eyes. And I know that eventually, they’ll want to do these things with their friends and not me. So I’m going to do my best to complete as many of these family fall bucket list ideas as I possibly can! And we’re already off to a great start
Here are some of the things we plan on checking off our list!
Corn maze
Pumpkin patch
Get fresh donuts and apple cider
Trick-or-Treat
Take family photos
Go for a nature walk
Go on a hayride
Apple picking
Attend a fall festival
Rake leaves and jump in them!
Go on a scenic train ride
Paint or carve a pumpkin
Host a bonfire
Bundle up for a football game
Make and decorate cookies
Make a fall craft
Scary movie marathon
Go to a farmers market
Visit a haunted house
Jump in piles of leaves
Fall only lasts for so long and then we’ll be cooped up inside the house! So be sure to take full advantage of the beauty of the season and all that nature has to offer. If you’re not sure where to find all the fall things going on in your area, I recommend searching Google for local fall events/pumpkin patches, HulaFrog (one of my favorite resources) or local newspapers/magazine!
