One of the most important museums in Ukraine has put up for auction as NFTs digital copies of works of art from its collection. The idea is to use blockchain technology to make money for the museum and make an official record of the art in case the originals are lost or stolen.
The Kharkiv Art Museum in Ukraine made an exclusive NFT collection, and the Binance NFT Marketplace is happy to be the official place to sell it. This cultural center has about 25,000 great works of art, and its collection is known to be one of the oldest and most valuable in the country. Now, to help preserve Ukraine’s cultural history, the museum is letting people all over the world see its work through Binance NFT.
As part of a collection called “Art Without Borders,” the Kharkiv Art Museum has chosen fifteen works of art to be sold as NFTs. The NFTs are only being sold at auction on Binance NFT from October 13 to October 20, 2022. The money from the sale will be used to help the museum do its job, which includes running and fixing things.

The Kharkiv Art Museum in Ukraine chose fifteen pieces and put them into three groups: bronze, silver, and gold. Each tier has five unique works of art, and the starting auction prices for bronze-tier NFTs, silver-tier NFTs, and gold-class NFTs are 500 BUSD, 750 BUSD, and 1,000 BUSD, respectively.
“The Walk” by the German painter Albrecht Dürer (1496–1498), “Bouquet of Flowers” by the Dutch painter Georgius Jacobus Johannes van Os (19th century), and “View of Venice from Lido” by the Russian artist Ivan Aivazovsky (1854), which is often called one of the greatest works of maritime art, are some of the collection’s best pieces. Simon de Vlieger, Henryk Siemiradzki, and Ilya Repin are some of the other artists in the auction.
Only one copy of each of the 15 NFTs will be sold on Binance NFT. The money raised will be used to help preserve Ukraine’s cultural heritage. At the Kharkiv Art Museum, you can see both the original and the other copy.
By digitising works from its collection, the museum is not only raising money to help it stay open during a hard time, but it is also making sure that there is an official source of truth for this art in case something ever happens to the museum or its website.
Also, anyone who wants to help the museum can do so safely by buying one of its NFTs, since all transactions are recorded on the blockchain. Without the ability to change or delete data, it is possible to confirm that the right amount of money was spent.
