On the date they were supposed to be playing the first of two nights at the Barrowlands and ahead of Tim Burgess‘s Twitter Listening Party (#timstwitterlisteningparty) tomorrow night (Friday 17 April at 10pm), The Twilight Sad have shared live album ‘It Won/t Be Like This All the Time Live’ and made it available on a pay-what-you-want basis via Bandcamp now.
Recorded over the course of 2019’s extensive tour, the setlist spans across the band’s five albums, capturing their dynamic live sound and showing why they are one of the UK’s most special bands. From early fan favourites including ‘And She Would Darken the Memory’ and ‘That Summer, at Home I Had Become the Invisible Boy’ to more recent singles ‘Videograms’ and ‘Vtr’, as well as a powerful 11-minute cover of Frightened Rabbit’s ‘Keep Yourself Warm’, there is so much to enjoy.
We’ll see you on Twitter tomorrow.
‘The title of our last album It Won/t Be Like This All the Time has been living with me for the past three/four years and right now that sentiment feels stronger than ever. We’ll get through this together.
Sending our love to you and all the health services around the world.
