The Twelve Strange Days of Christmas by @SydMoore1

Nothing says Christmas more than a good old fashioned ghost story on a dark winter's night, so sit back and enjoy a little pinch of Yuletide mayhem.

These extraordinary tales, one for each day of Christmas, explore the odd, the peculiar and the downright chilling, from a Strange encounter with an Icelandic Shaman, to a psychic policewoman, lively winged beasts and warnings from the recently departed.

Some of these stories appeared in the ebook The Strange Casebook, 2018.

I chose this book because it fit the Popsugar category and I'd never heard of the author before. It wasn't always clear which day of Christmas the stories were set in and I'd have liked this link to be clearer. To be honest, many of the stories make no reference to seasons or Christmas and could have been set anywhere. I liked the mix of stories but many of them were very short and didn't really go anywhere. Some of the stories were amusing and dark but I thought this was a weak collection.
