This is what the other side of separation looks like. Not perfect. Not performed. Just two people who chose truth over and over again until there was nothing left between them but the real thing. Unions don’t happen in lies and deceit. They happen in the truth.

Heads together. Present. Real. The quote across the image is not a slogan. It is the lived instruction that brought them through everything separation tried to take. Every twin flame journey arrives at a moment where the choice becomes clear: stay in the story the survival mind is telling, or return to what is actually true. Union is not a reward for spiritual progress. It is what remains when two people stop protecting themselves from each other and start meeting in the truth instead. Lee and Sherry do not teach this from theory. They teach it from inside the territory. Root Camp exists because they walked this first.

Not perfect. Not performed. Just two people who chose truth over and over again until there was nothing left between them but the real thing. Unions don’t happen in lies and deceit. They happen in the truth.“If you want to heal twin flame separation, the first step is learning what the nervous system is actually doing.”
What the pain is actually asking you to return to.
There is something that happens in the body
when the person you recognize at the deepest level
is no longer present.
It is not heartbreak in the ordinary sense.
It is older than that.
The nervous system goes searching for something it cannot name.
The mind fills the silence with story.
And the body holds what neither of them can resolve.
What I have learned, after twenty years of this healing
and more than a decade of guiding others through it,
is that separation is not the problem.
Separation is the signal.
Here are the five things that actually move the healing forward.
1. Stop trying to think your way through it.
The mind is going to offer you everything it has.
Reasons. Timelines. Signs. Scenarios.
It will build a case for why they will come back.
It will build a case for why they won’t.
None of that is the healing.
The nervous system does not heal through understanding.
It heals through feeling.
The first step is to let the body be the one leading.
Not the story you’ve been telling.
Not the thread you keep following in your mind.
The body.
Right now.
What is it actually holding?
2. Feel into the separation rather than away from it.
Everything in survival mode will move you toward distraction.
Toward numbness.
Toward anything that quiets the ache.
I understand that impulse.
But avoidance is not rest.
Avoidance is just the body holding the feeling in a different posture.
What the feeling is asking for is to be met.
Not solved.
Not explained.
Met.
When you can sit with what the body is carrying
without immediately reaching for relief,
something begins to move.
Not because you forced it.
Because presence itself is the regulation.
3. Understand what the nervous system is actually doing.
Twin flame separation is not a love story gone wrong.
It is a nervous system polarity.
What looks like one person running
and one person chasing
is two survival systems responding to the same unbearable intimacy.
The runner is not abandoning you.
They are flooded.
The chaser is not desperate.
They are activated.
When you understand what is happening in the body
instead of projecting it onto the story,
the healing shifts from trying to change them
to returning to yourself.
4. Let someone hold the connection while you cannot.
This is the one most people resist the longest.
Because in separation, the nervous system does not trust.
It has learned that connection is also loss.
And so it goes into a loop.
Wanting connection.
Protecting against it.
Wanting it again.
What breaks that loop is not more information.
It is being-to-being contact with someone
who can remain regulated in the presence of your pain.
Not someone who fixes it.
Someone who does not need it to be different
in order to stay present with you.
That is what Sherry and I hold in Root Camp.
Not guidance from the outside.
Presence from inside the same territory.
5. Return to the feeling body as the guide.
Feeling intelligence is not emotional reactivity.
It is the primary intelligence of the nervous system.
The one that was present before language.
Before thought.
Before the story of who you are.
When the twin flame connection activates,
it touches that original intelligence.
That is why it is so disorienting.
Nothing in the mind’s vocabulary fits it.
The healing is not about making sense of the connection.
The healing is about returning
to the intelligence inside you
that already knows.
The body.
Always the body.
Separation is not a punishment.
It is a doorway.
To everything inside you that was there before them.
And will remain after.
You do not need to figure out the twin flame connection.
You need to come home to yourself.
That is what Root Camp is.
The place where the body stops running
and starts being held.
Ready to stop surviving separation and start healing it?
Root Camp is a one-on-one nervous system healing program with Lee and Sherry Patterson. It is not a course. It is not a method. It is a return.
