Oh, surprise of all surprises, the guy who won’t let girls out of his car is from the cult. Didn’t see that one coming. Wow. Huge surprise. I mean, just… Wow. I also learned today, you will not believe this, but 2 + 2 is 4. I know. I was blown away as well. Aside from coming out of the least shocking reveal in TV history, after being kidnapped basically for a short while, our rebellious teenager who can’t have Sebastian is already Stockholm Syndromed into this creepy motherfucker. Meanwhile, May can’t stop being weird too, when asked about the house burning down. I think, if May just told people her shit, she’d find those around her a lot more thankful for the information, and then maybe she’d get to live this normal life she clearly wants to live.

3) Archer (FX/Hulu)

That season finale felt oddly anti-climatic. I feel like they’ve had stronger ones in the past, but I at least can see how they wrapped up the storyline, and set up for next season. Parts of it were funny, but this show still needs audio description. not my favorite show, but considering it’s the first full season without Mallory, they managed.

2) Star Trek: Lower Decks (Paramount Plus)

I’m actually sad this episode was longer than in needed to be, because the episode, when centered just around this android on a strange planet, was probably my favorite episode of the series, but definitely the season. I’m not a massive fan of lower Decks, but this bottle episode that didn’t put a huge focus on the wide ensemble, and instead just on this one odd character, actually produced not just a hilarious episode, full of zingers, but also somehow occasionally posed an important question or two. Great job.

1) The Good Doctor (ABC/Hulu)
English Audio Description?: Yes
After taking a break off from audio description last week, the hospital gang centered in on a woman giving birth to sextuplets, and an all hands on deck approach. Basically, every story line was replayed to babies, except Dr Lin’s about getting out there and dating again. But, the episode found Sean and Leah were not getting the best results in the baby making arena… and may never.
Episode Grade: A-
I didn’t think any episode warranted an A today. One of those rare days.
