Five shows entered the arena today (though I also managed three films). Which one ended up on top?
5) Tell Me A lie Tell Me Lies (Hulu)

Despite the fact that the rest of the cast returned after that Steven episode, the show isn’t regaining the kind of momentum I’d like it to. It’s really just making me wonder why I’m sticking with it till the end, when i know there’s a new season of Gossip Girl.

4) Devil In Ohio (Netflix)

I’ve already had it with May, victim or not.I just need this show to end. I know when everyone realized that the dance was also a full moon, it was supposed to be this big moment, but for me it was one step closer to this show ending. The inability to get close to the cult and withholding information has made this series a lot less interesting, and scary, than i thought it might be. It puts all of the weirdness onto May’s shoulders, which makes her almost an impossible character to empathize with because it’s impossible to tell if she’s being genuine.

3) One Of us Is Lying (Peacock)

I’m starting to realize that the long term prospects for this show are none. You can’t just keep having the core cast losing their minds every season while being blackmailed by some new mysterious source. I don’t know what a third season would look like, but two episodes in, I feel like they’re running around trying to implicate anyone and everyone. It can’t be someone from the group, because the camera angle they were treated to proved that none of them shot the footage, so it is someone else. But who? My guess… two episodes in? That spurned British boy. It’s always the quiet ones.

2) Avenue 5 (HBo mAX)

As the passengers prepare for certain death, it looks like someone might have figured out how not to fly directly into the sun after all.That would have ended the season pretty quickly, wouldn’t it? Probably one of the boldest choices. To announce a second season, but it’s only two episodes because the entire cast flies into the sun and dies. People would talk about that show forever. instead, i still think I’m the only one who watches.

1) The Good Doctor (ABC/Hulu)

On a very special episode of The Good Doctor, a patient is found with random traumatic injuries and doesn’t remember anything. After further investigation, her doctors realize she was date raped. Then they spend the rest of the time trying to convince their patient to take a rape kit. Sean, meanwhile, has a patient who had a surgical sponge left in her (not by him), and he has to figure out how to retrieve it. In the end, Freddie Highmore gave a great performance, letting all his true emotions out about what transpired between himself and Dr. Lin, and in true cliffhanger finale… a little bomb of information gets dropped in the final seconds.
