The Too Much TV Roundup- 11/30/23

Posted on the 01 December 2023 by Sirmac2 @macthemovieguy

I saw a mention of a virgin River Season 6, so I’m guessing it’s happening. And, Michelle Williams found an DX series worth her talent. Other than that, I think two Governors made out on live TV or something last night. Not really sure.

1) Neon (Netflix)

English Audio Description?: Yes

Status: Unknown

The gang look for someone to finance them. They meet a strong female boss lady and it seems like everything is going their way, until they realize she’s also a drug dealer. Oops.

Episode Grade: A-

2) Found (Peacock)

English Audio Description?: Yes

Status: Renewed

I know I’m supposed to feel super intrigued at these flashbacks and how we seem to be trying to humanize Sir, but it just makes it really uncomfortable. Especially when left unresolved, and we don’t know what the message is. Is he a good kid that was ruined by a bad parent so we need to cut him some slack? I was honestly hoping that at least if we were going down this route, it would make more sense for Sir to be a kidnap victim himself, but that doesn’t seem to be the path, especially as the other kid we’ve been following for some reason wakes up out of his coma. That *would* have been an interesting parallel. I’m not going to start falling for Sir, either way, so stop trying.

Episode Grade: B

3) Yellowjackets (Paramount Plus)

English Audio Description?: Yes

Status: Renewed

So, even though in the past the Yellowjackets still have some others alive, I think these might be the only survivors left to surprise us with. I’d love to talk more about the episode, but as Little has reminded me, the first rule of Yellowjacket Fight Club is….

Episode Grade: A

4) Tiny Toons Looniversity (MAX)

English Audio Description?: Yes

Status: Unknown

Look, I can tell you have NO idea what to do with Lola, but… what is that? The whole episode was split between Babs and Buster trying to learn how to cook, and Plucky and Hampton giving a tour to a hipster that rates schools.

Episode Grade: B
