erotic parks around the world

Erotic parks, no, it’s not a typo. I’m talking about big open public spaces full of statues of naked people going at it like rabbits, or posing in the kind of sexual yoga positions that only a professional athlete can manage. So now that I have got your attention, here is a list of three – I could only find three examples – erotic parks from around the world and two erotic temples.

erotic parks

Gustav Vigeland, Norway

From bronze statues of naked men kicking babies, to the central 46 foot high monolith made up of 121 writhing bodies, the Gustav Vigeland sulptural exhibition is a special place. The sculptures in the park are many and varied and it is not all about sex. The pieces reflect emotions ranging from love and lust through to hate and violence. It’s an interesting place full of symbolism and the naked human form.

The public exhibition was completed in 1944, a year before the artists death. There are a total of 212 statues and sculptures in the Frogner Park, exhibiting the life work of this Norwegian artist.

erotic park

Can Ginebreda Bosc D’Escultures, Spain

With statues of a giant impaling himself on his own penis and a floating head sucking cock, you could be forgiven for thinking that you have walked into some kind of x-rated fairytale. Yet this park in the woods is no fairytale, but the brainchild of the Spanish artist Xicu Cabanyes.

The Erotic Forest, to give this Catalan park it’s english translation, is located a short drive out of Barcelona. The sculpture park is continually being expanded with new pieces added by local artists. There are now more than a 100 pieces exhibited in the park.

the most erotic park in the world

Jeju Loveland, South Korea

Midget sex, giant penises that you can sit on and statues you can have sex with make Jeju Loveland one of the kinkiest erotic parks in the world. Of course, Jeju Loveland is not all about taking silly pictures of yourself, there is an educational side…

This Korean sex park was opened in 2004 for visitors. There are over 140 erotic statues exhibited at Jeju Loveland. The exhibits were all designed by a group of art students from the Hingik University in Seoul.

erotic temple

Khajuraho Temple, India

Bestiality, orgies and a good bit of simple fornication are the theme of the Khajuraho Temple in India. These themes may sound modern, but the temple was actually built more than a thousand years ago, which goes to show that it is not just ex-Italian MPs that have sex with horses.

The Khajuraho Temple is quite a window into the past and a reminder that we aren’t the first generation to have sex on the brain. the best thing is, as this temple was built more than a thousand years, you are officially not a pervert for visiting the site, but a student of history learning about a different culture.

erotic temples

Sukuh Temple, Indonesia

Some people in Indonesia would probably prefer to forget that the country has an erotic past, but Sukuh Temple in Eastern Java is a reminder that sex was once not such a taboo. Though there is no bestiality or orgies, there are plenty of erections and even a bit of tentative penetration.

Sukuh Temple was built around 1437 and comes from the same Hindu style of temple as Khajuraho in India.
